Mikayla H On Twitter: To Get Started Writing Vs For Mac

adexmicon1981 2020. 2. 14. 22:50

THIS REPO IS DEPRECATED This repo represents the 'old way' of creating and publishing Electron applications, based on Atom's build process - while this way still works and there are still some good ideas in this repo, it's actually far easier to use and to get started. Electron Starter App electron-starter is a base application that you can use to get started writing your own cross-platform (Win/Mac/Linux) Desktop apps via Electron. This template is extracted from the Atom source code, cleaned up to be more generic, and to be a great starting point for a production app.

Getting Started Everything in Electron Starter is configured via the package.json file - there are some extra fields that are of interest:. name - The name for your app that will be used in the build tools. Make it something simple. productName - The name of your product - your executable will be called this (i.e.

'MyApp.app') The default project is called EightOhEight (get it? Cause it's a sample(r)). Once you've set that up, do:. script/bootstrap - Run this once per checkout. script/build - Run this whenever you change package.json or change early startup code. script/run - Run the app.

And, since Visual Studio for Mac uses the same MSBuild solution and project format as Visual Studio, developers working on Mac and Windows can share projects across Mac and Windows transparently. With multi-process debugging, you can use Visual Studio for Mac to debug both your front end application as well as your backend simultaneously. She started writing short stories at nine, and then wrote the novel a year later. Some extra creamy mac and cheese. (What makes it so creamy, though, is a secret between the author and me. 1,339,691 reviews on ConsumerAffairs are verified. Just because it’s easy to get started and cheap-doesn't mean it will work out for you! It’s not for everyone! Mikayla of Hampton.

Use this for running the app in developer mode Another useful script is script/grunt, which will run the local version of Grunt. Script/grunt -help will tell you the list of available tasks. Using JavaScript ES6 JavaScript ES6 / ESNext is available via the Babel project for almost all files except for very early in startup. To use it, add 'use babel'; to the top of your file. Check out for more information. What's the 'browser' vs 'renderer' code? Electron has (at least) two separate contexts - when your app first starts up, it is running in a DOM-less node.js loop - there are no windows.

This is called the Browser context. The built-in code proceeds to start up a BrowserWindow object, which then creates a Rendering context, which is what you are more used to - it's got the Chrome DevTools and a DOM, yet it can still use node.js, as well as several Electron APIs that are made available.

Check out the for more about what you can do. Most of your app's code should ideally live in the Rendering context, because the Browser context is difficult to debug and test - there is no Chrome DevTools, solely printf-based debugging. Why does $MYFAVORITELIBRARY not work / do weird stuff? Some JavaScript libraries try to detect whether they're in node.js via probing for module or require, and assume that they aren't in a browser.

You might find that you need to patch these libraries to always operate in Browser Mode.

Hey lovelies! In today’s post I will be sharing with you my favourite makeup products of 2017! Most of these products aren’t necessarily products that were released this year, but they were new products to me. I hope you enjoy! Foundations and Concealers Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation – This is the best foundations that I have tried so far! I say that because out of all the foundations I have tried over the years, this one controls oil the best. This foundation controls oil for 8-9 hours and even then it looks dewy and beautiful rather than oily.

It does start to separate around my nose at the 8-9 hour mark but everywhere else looks flawless. I highly recommend this foundation if you have oily skin. Designer Brands Longwear 24 Hour Foundation – For a foundation that isn’t targeted toward oily skin, this foundation is pretty great! It definitely isn’t as long wearing as my Estee Lauder foundation, but compared to other drugstore foundations that are targeted toward oily skin, this foundation is really good! It has great coverage and looks flawless on the skin.

I usually start getting oily around the 6-7 hour mark but compared to other foundations that’s quite decent. I have found in the warmer weather I’m starting to get oily around the 3-4 hour mark which is a shame, so maybe it’s just one I reach for on cooler days. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer – This is a concealer I can only wear on days I am not wearing foundation because the lightest shade is darker than all of my foundations. However, when I do have “no makeup – makeup” days I apply this concealer under my eyes, to any blemishes and redness and it looks so flawless on the skin. Its a damn shame they have a limited shade selection because if they had one slightly lighter than the lightest shade of the fit me foundations, this would be my go to concealer because of how flawless it looks on the skin. Mecca Max Life Proof Cream Concealer – This has become my holy grail concealer, I even like it more than my Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer which was my holy grail before I found this and it’s half the price! The shade 0.5 porcelain is so perfect for pale skin as it is lighter than all the foundations I own so it actually does a beautiful job of brightening the under eye area while providing great coverage and it also looks flawless on the skin.

I highly recommend it! Contour Nyx High Definition Blush in Taupe – This is the perfect cool toned shade to contour! I always use a light hand to build up the product because as you can see it is quite pigmented and it blends out so well! If you have pale skin this is another product you will love! Highlighters Models Prefer x Samantha Jade Strobing Palette – I’m afraid this palette was limited edition, but this palette is so amazing! I don’t usually buy highlighting palettes as I know I would only be able to use one or two shades but with this one I can use 4/6 shades!

The formula is incredible, they are so pigmented and blinding without being chunky or glittery. Models Prefer you seriously need to bring back this palette or use this formula to create single highlighters that are permanent in your range because this formula is one of the best I have tried! The Balm Mary Lou Manizer- Seeing this highlighter in the pan and swatched you would think that it wouldn’t be a great highlighter, but on the face it is absolutely beautiful! It gives you a blinding light champagne highlight that is flattering on many skin tones and it’s not chunky or super glittery. Every time I use this highlighter I’m blown away by how good it looks. It’s a cult classic for a reason! I highly recommend it.

Makeup Geek Cos metics Highlighter in Glitz- I know this highlighter hasn’t been in my collection long, but I have fallen in love with it! It looks so beautiful on pale skin. Like the other highlighters in my favourites, it applies to the skin without chunks of glitter making it look flawless on the skin. Brows Essence Make Me Brow – Brownie Brows – I having been using this to set my brow powder in place most of the year and I love it. I love that it is a cool toned brown as the last thing I want is for my brows to look orange like a lot of other drugstore brow products do. The wand is also small so you can precisely coat the brows without making a mess and I also love how affordable it is! Eyeshadow Palettes Stila The Eyes are the Window – Soul Eyeshadow Palette – Although I got this palette in October it has become one of the top 3 palettes in my collection!

It has everything you need to create a complete look and the formula is outstanding! The shimmers are the best I have tried.

They also don’t crease or fade on the eyes and there is no fall out! Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette- I found myself reaching for this palette a lot throughout the year as it’s so versatile! You can create simple everyday looks and beautiful evening looks. The formula on these shadows blend out so well and they are long lasting on the eyes.

I also love that it smells like chocolate! Mascara Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara – This mascara is amazing! It separates the lashes and makes them really long while also giving them volume! I have heard others say it transfers and flakes on them, but that doesn’t happen to me at all! The best part is that it is under $10!

Lipstick Models Prefer Matte Lipstick In Naughty Nude – For a matte lipstick this one is actually very comfortable on the lips! I sometimes like applying a lip balm underneath to make it have more of a glossy finish and that looks beautiful as well. I find that this shade goes with everything which is why I reach for it so often and it is also quite long lasting on the lips which I appreciate. Essence Long Lasting Lipstick in Barely There- This was also featured in my makeup favourites from last year, I still love it so much! It is so creamy on the lips while being long lasting and the shade also goes with everything! It is also under $5 which is crazy!

That’s all of my favourites for 2107! What were yours? Let me know in the comments below xx. It’s been a long while, I apologise for my absence.

University is over for the year so I am finally able to sit down and start writing blog posts again and I am super excited! I know my last post was an empties post but my bin of used up products is overflowing so I want to get it out of the way before we get on to some exciting posts! However, I hope you enjoy this post anyhow. So if you want to hear reviews about all the products I have used over the last few months and want to know whether I will repurchase them, then please keep reading!

Makeup Empties Clinique Anti-blemish Solutions Liquid Makeup – This product I haven’t actually used up, but it has been sitting in my collection for so long and I noticed it had separated so I thought it’s time to throw it out. This foundation was the first foundation I ever tried. I began using it when I was 13 when I suffered from acne and went through several bottles of it. Now that I am older, I don’t have acne anymore and because it doesn’t provide enough coverage for me, I don’t tend to reach for it anymore. The colour 01 fresh alabaster is also too dark for me. I wouldn’t suggest this for those who have severe, cystic acne because it has super light coverage, but if you have minor breakouts and don’t mind light coverage foundations, you might really like this because it has ingredients to help get rid of those breakouts. Rimmel London Stay Matte Primer – This is one of my favourite primers and I really need to go pick up a new one.

I like the fact that it helps control shine and minimises pores because that is the main reason I use primers for. It also doesn’t feel heavy on the skin which is a plus.

If you haven’t tried this and you have oily skin, I would definitely recommend it! Rimmel London Gel Liner – I liked this eyeliner in the beginning, it was really creamy and very black, but I found that it dried up very quickly which made it hard to use so there is product left in the pot but since it’s dried up I’m going to throw it out and I won’t be repurchasing it. Rimmel London 60 Seconds Nail Polish in 740 Clear – I really enjoyed this nail polish!

I can’t say it did dry in 60 seconds like it claims, but I really enjoyed the brush applicator because it is kind of rounded at the end which make it so much easier because it fits the shape of the nail and as it’s quite a wide brush it coats the nail in one to two swipes. There is still some product left in the bottle but it’s really hard to get to so I’m just going to throw it out, but I would definitely repurchase and in different colours too! Kevyn Aucoin The Essential Mascara – I don’t think this mascara is worth the money. I wasn’t a fan of the wand, I felt like it picked up way too much product so I always had to wipe away the excess on the opening of the tube to prevent my lashes from clumping together. It did provide some volume and length, but it was a little clumpy and it just didn’t blow me away.

I also felt like it dried up very quickly so it’s definitely not worth the money and I won’t be repurchasing it. Essence All Eyes on me Multi-effect Mascara Waterproof – This is a really good waterproof mascara. I usually use this as a top coat over my other mascaras because on its own I don’t find it does much apart from separating the lashes and providing some length. Since Essence is so affordable it is something I probably will repurchase because it’s handy to have a nice waterproof mascara in your collection!

Clinique High Impact Mascara – I have gone through so many of these! I mainly love using this on my lower lash line because it gives my lower lashes so much volume without making them clumpy. It’s also nice on the upper lashes on no makeup – makeup days as it makes my lashes look very fluttery and nice. I definitely recommend this! Cleansers and Moisturisers Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Oily Skin Formula – I love this cleanser and have been using it for so many years!

I have tried looking for drugstore alternatives and I have found a couple I don’t mind, but nothing beats this. It does such a good job of cleaning my skin and whenever I consistently use this I feel like my skin is clear of any breakouts apart from hormonal breakouts which are inevitable for me, but even during that time they are only minor pimples rather than sore, inflamed, cystic ones.

Using this I still get oily throughout the day but when I use this to wash my face it gets rid of the excess oil and unclogs my pores. Simple Clear Skin Oil Balancing Moisturiser – This moisturiser was good but it didn’t blow me away as I would still get oily skin throughout the day, but it did a nice job of moisturising my face. It also has really good ingredients and vitamins to reduce blemishes and improve the condition of the skin. I did notice when I was using it my skin had hardly any breakouts apart from hormonal ones so maybe that claim is true. If you only produce a little amount of oil during the day this moisturiser may help to prevent that, but if you have extremely oily skin I would avoid this because it did nothing in the way of controlling shine.

Nivea Rich Nourishing Body Lotion – This was a really nice moisturiser that did everything it claims to do – nourish the skin, reduce roughness, softens and moisturises skin, making it noticeably smoother. This is such an intensely moisturising body lotion so it’s perfect for those of you who have really dry skin. I don’t have really dry skin, but I hate moisturising my skin so I don’t do it as much as I should, so what I like about this is that I can use this a couple times a week and my skin is noticeably smoother and more moisturised. Face Masks 16 Brand Spirulina Mask – I really enjoyed this sheet mask, it made my skin feel hydrated and smooth! So I would definitely repurchase and in different types too.

Mikayla H On Twitter: To Get Started Writing Vs For Machine

Garnier Ultra Hydrating Soothing Mask – I enjoyed this mask too, it really hydrated the skin and made it soft and smooth. I would consider buying it again if it comes on sale. Skin Republic Bubble Purifying + Charcoal Sheet Mask – This was really fun and enjoyable to use and made my skin look and feel amazing.

I would consider purchasing again but I find them too expensive for one use. Lip Balms ChapStick mixstix Lemon Berry Sorbet – I wasn’t a huge fan of this lip balm because it didn’t moisturise the lips for long which meant that every half hour or so I would have to reapply it and that also meant that I went through it very quickly. The scents were nice but I won’t be repurchasing. Blistex Five Way Lip Protection – This is one of the best lip balms I have tried and that goes with all of the Blistex lip balms I have tried. They are just so creamy and moisturising on the lips which lasts a long time on the lips so you don’t have to reapply often which is great. I highly recommend them and would repurchase again for sure. Crazy Rumors Orange Juice Lip Balm – I wasn’t a huge fan of this lip balm either for the same reasons as the ChapStick one.

Facial Cleansing Wipes Real Care Skincare Age Resisting Facial Cleansing Wipes – I mentioned these in my last empties post, so if you’re interested on hearing my thoughts click! Body Wash and Hair care The Body Shop Strawberry Body Polish – This stuff is amazing and smells amazing too!

It’s perfect to use everyday, as it gently exfoliates and cleanses your body. I will definitely be repurchasing it! The Body Shop Mango Shower Gel – This was a really nice shower gel, it lathers really nicely and makes your skin feel really clean and soft. I wasn’t a huge fan of the mango scent but I would buy it again in a different scent for sure! Schwarzkopf Professional Repair Rescue Sealed Ends – This didn’t repair split ends but I noticed it prevented split ends from occurring. I recently purchased another split end treatment from the brand that is very similar to this so I won’t be repurchasing.

Started

Samples Rodan + Fields Samples – A consultant from Rodan + Fields kindly sent me a couple samples to try. I liked the Enhancements Micro – Dermabrasion Paste, it was a really good exfoliating scrub for the face that left my skin free from any dry patches. I was also sent a facial serum and lip serum capsule and I really enjoyed them as well.

The facial serum made my skin feel so soft and smooth while the lip serum really hydrated the lips. Korres Wild Rose Brightening & Line Smoothing Serum – I got this free sample in a mecca order and I really didn’t like it. The scent was so overpowering and it made my skin feel so sticky which I did not enjoy. Eve Lom Rescue Mask – I liked the mask itself, it did a really good job at exfoliating my skin but the scent was also very overpowering. Bath Bombs Kmart Bath Fizzers – I should have known by how cheap they were that they wouldn’t be that great, but at the same time they were worth a shot.

Needless to say these were rather disappointing, they hardly fizzed and just sunk to the bottom. The colour of the water didn’t change and you couldn’t smell the particular scents of them and there were no bubbles. I don’t recommend them at all. Lush Blackberry Bath Bomb – This bath bomb was also underwhelming, maybe that was because I put the bath bomb in the water when I turned off the tap. All it did was make the bath purple which I guess is still better then having a regular bath. I think this one is being discontinued so I can’t even buy it again to try it with the tap still running. Nose Strips Biore Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips – I really like these!

They don’t get rid of all my blackheads, but it removes a decent amount of them and I just find it so satisfying seeing all the gunk come out of my skin (I’m such a gross human I know). My only issue with these is that after I use them my nose feels really itchy, but I probably will repurchase them. That is all the empties I have to share with you today.

Thank you to those of you who read about all of my empties, I know that is was a very long post. From now on, I’ll make sure to do my empties monthly 🙂 Bye for now xxx. I don’t know about you, but I love finding makeup products at the drugstore that are so cheap but such high quality! In today’s post I shall be telling you what I think are the best products at the drugstore that are $10 or under! So if you’re interested, then please keep reading!. Essence Long Lasting Lipstick $4.70 The Essence Long Lasting Lipsticks are amazinggg!

The shade I own (06 Barely There) is one of my top 3 holy grail lip colours in my collection. It’s such a beautiful rosy pink nude perfect for everyday wear! The formula is also amazing, it’s so creamy and moisturising on the lips and it does last a long time and for $4.70 how could you go wrong!? I definitely need to pick up more shades! BYS Highlighting Trios $7.95 The BYS highlighting trios definitely win a spot in my top three drugstore highlighters thats for sure!

I own two of the trios, this one is called Glistening. I have a of these highlighters on my blog already so I won’t go into much detail about them, but they are so pigmented and have such a buttery formula and you get three highlighters for less than $8, how amazing is that!?

Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara $6.75 After hearing Lauren Curtis’s first impressions of this mascara and seeing the effect the mascara had on her lashes I immediately knew that I needed to try this mascara and I’m so glad that I did! This mascara provides so much length and volume to your lashes, even my boyfriend noticed how long my lashes were when I was wearing this mascara so needless to say its become one of my favourite mascaras and that says a lot considering I’m super fussy about mascaras.

I also recommend trying out all the other Essence mascaras as well because all of the ones I have tried I have really liked and they are some of the cheapest mascaras at the drugstore. Australis Velourlips Matte Lip Cream $10.50 I know this is 50 cents over, but these are my favourite liquid lipstick formula that I have tried at the drugstore so I had to include them! What I love about them is they are quite comfortable on the lips compared to others that I have tried and they have a great variety of shades, I own quite a few but my favourite which is pictured above is called Oh-Saka and again it’s a lovely rosy pink nude shade (which is my go to shade if you can’t already tell). NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder $9.95 I’m so fussy about brow products from the drugstore because majority of them are really warm toned and my hair is extremely dark brown/almost black so I like for my brows to be cool toned and although this isn’t a perfect match it leans more on the neutral side which I’m fine about.

Regardless of the shades however, the formula is nicely pigmented and the powder is easy to use and forgiving when you make mistakes and you also get a clear brow wax so the powder will stick and last all day. You also get a mini brush and spoolie but I threw them out because they were useless, but the product itself is really good! I would highly recommend this for a beginner or someone who prefers to work with powder products like me! Rimmel Stay Matte Translucent Setting Pressed Powder $11.95 Yesss I am aware that this product is slightly over $10, but I had to include it because it’s my holy grail setting powder, I honestly can’t live without it! If you have oily skin like me you’ll absolutely love this! It mattifies the skin and helps control oil throughout the day and it also helps to minimise the appearance of pores!

Models Prefer Matte Lipstick $9.99 I clearly have a type when it comes to lipstick shades, but I swear they are all a little bit differentthis particular shade is called Naughty Nude and this is another one of my top 3 lipsticks of all time and I only got it a couple weeks agoI have absolutely fell in love with the shade and the formula! They are so comfortable on the lips even though they have a matte finish and they are super long lasting!

Essence Matt Touch Blush $5.10 Although you can’t really go wrong with blush, I particularly love this one by Essence (in the shade Berry me up) because it the colour lasts all day on my cheeks, it doesn’t fade at all and there are some blushes that do that and I also love the super cute pattern imprint, I need to try more Essence blushes because they have a few different finishes (i.e satin finish). Essence Make Me Brow $5.10 This is the last Essence product I promise haha! I love this brow gel because it is cool toned and has little fibres which helps makes your brows look fuller.

I typically use this to set my brows after I fill them in with a powder product. I also love the wand because it’s the perfect size for the brows so you don’t have to worry about getting product on your skin and messing up your foundation! NYX Powder Blush $9.95 Again I love this blush because it lasts all day on the cheeks and I like how you can never use too much and look like a clown, you can easily build it up to the way you like and I also love the imprint in it hahaha (This shade is called Dusty Rose). So that’s it for today’s post, I hope you enjoyed it! Have you tried any of these products?

How To Get Started Writing A Book

Let me know in the comments below xoxo,. For today’s post I’m going to be sharing with you what makeup I bring with me when I travel! Over the next week I will be commencing my rural teaching placement for uni and by rural I mean countryside, 4 hours away from home and I’ll be staying there for almost a week! Hopefully this post will give you ideas about what sort of makeup you could bring with you when you travel!

So if you’re interested than please keep reading! Primers I’m bringing two primers with me. The Loreal Infallible Mattifying Primer is what I use in my T-zone to keep me matte and my oils controlled and because this primer doesn’t minimise the appearance of pores, I’m also going to be taking with me my Australis Cya Later Pores Primer to use on my cheeks where my pores are really visible.

I love both of these primers, they both do what they claim to do in my opinion! Foundation and concealer For foundation I’m taking with me my trusty Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. This is my holy grail foundation at the moment.

It is the best foundation I have tried for my oily skin and I love that it’s super long lasting as I will be wearing my makeup for 10-12 hours each day while I’m away. This foundation also leaves my skin looking flawless which as another reason why I love it and why I’m bringing it with me. Oh and if you’re wondering where I got the pump from, it’s from MAC! That’s right, the MAC foundation pumps fit perfectly and makes life so much easier! For concealer I’m bringing my holy grail Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer.

If you follow me on here or on my, you would know how much I love this concealer! I love how light the shade chantilly is, it is light enough to brighten my under eye area and it’s super full coverage so it pairs really well with the foundation. Setting powders To set my under eye concealer while I’m away, I’m going to be using the highlight shade in the Wet n Wild Dulce De Leche Megaglo Contour Palette. I love using this as a setting powder for my concealer, it has such a buttery formula and doesn’t make my under eye area look dry or cakey. To set the rest of my face I’ll be using the Rimmel Stay Matte Translucent Pressed Powder and as you can see it is very well loved hahaha. It’s my holy grail setting powder as it keeps me matte and helps to control my oils while making my makeup last longer.

Contour, blush and highlight Instead of taking bulky face palettes, I decided to take individual contour, blush and highlight products. The NYX High Definition Blush in the shade Taupe is my holy grail though so without a doubt I’m taking that! It’s such a beautiful contour shade for pale skin and has a cool undertone which I love and the formula is super blendable. I’m also bring along the NYX blush in Dusty Rose many because it’s the only single blush suitable with the dense brush I’m bringing with me, all of my other blush brushes are too long to fit into my travel brush case and with this blush being quite firmly pressed, using my dense blush brush is perfect, but I also do really love this brush in general. The highlighter I’m bringing with me is none other than the Mary Lou Manizer by the Balm. This is one of my absolute favourite highlighters and because it’s a single highlighter it’s even better because it will take up less space. Eyebrows This is my favourite brow combination so of course I’m going to be taking these with me!

I love the fact that both of these brow products are cool toned as that is something that is hard to come by and I get perfect brows every time I use this products as the Benefit Brow Zings is a very forgiving product, it’s easy to fix your mistakes and the Essence Make me Brow sets my brows in place and makes my brows look fuller due to the fibres in it. I use this combination every time I do my makeup! Eyeshadow As I have oily skin and hooded eyes, I always have to use an eyeshadow primer to avoid my eyeshadow from creasing and my favourite eyeshadow primer and in fact the only one I own is the Too Faced Shadow Insurance primer and I know that this is the old packaging but I swear this tube is never ending hahaha so I’m going to be taking this with me. I also chose to bring with me the Tartelette Tease palette by Tatre due to its travel friendly size and due to the fact that the shades are all neutral as I will have to wear workplace friendly makeup. Mascara I’ll be taking with me my current favourite mascara which is the Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara.

This mascara lengthens and volumizes my lashes like crazy, even my boyfriend thinks my eyes pop when I wear this mascara, so of course I’m going to take my favourite mascara! Lipstick Last but not least is lipstick and another Essence product. This is the long lasting lipstick in the shade 06 Barely There and it’s my favourite lipstick of all time. It’s a beautiful rosy, mauve pink and the formula is so creamy and long lasting so I’m definietly taking this with me!

That’s all the makeup I’ll be taking with me on my placement! Wish me luck and I’ll be back again with another post next Wednesday! Hello lovelies, I hope you’re having an amazing weekend so far! Today’s post is going to be a review on the Crush Cosmetics 12A Alaura Eyeshadow Palette! I know so many of you on Instagram have been looking forward to this review for many weeks now so I’m excited to finally do it for you. Before we get started, some of you might be wondering, what is Crush Cosmetics?

Well is an online Australian makeup store which sells products from a range of international beauty brands such as Wet n Wild, Milani, LA girls and more! They also sell their own brushes and cosmetics, in fact their eyeshadow palettes are dupes for the Morphe Palettes!

They ship to over 35 countries, how amazing is that!? As soon as they released the 12A Alaura Eyeshadow Palette I just knew I had to get it!

It’s full of beautiful warm tones which I absolutely love and the deep red shade in the palette really caught my eye. This was also a palette that really inspires me from looking at it, I knew that I will be able to create many looks with it and use most of the shades!

In the palette you get 12 shades, 6 matte, 5 shimmer/metallic and one glitter infused matte and it retails for $23 AUD. The packaging feels really cheap, but what do you expect with such an affordable palette like that. The mattes are slightly chalky, but on the eyes they blend really well and you can build up the pigmentation really well, although that deep red shade is super pigmented and a small amount goes a long way! The shimmers/metallic shades are super pigmented and buttery and the glitter infused matte (second left on the top row) is such a lovely brow bone highlight shade! I don’t think that the two shades on the end of the first row are necessary, I think it would have been better to add a dark brown matte or even a black matte so you can really deepen up the look especially since the palette is so so warm toned, if your’e not careful it can look like you have pink eye or that you’re a zombie haha.

Overall, I’m really glad I bought this palette. The shadows blend out well and the pigmentation is amazing on the shimmers/metallics and although the mattes are slightly chalky and less pigmented, the pigmentation builds up really nicely! Every look I have created with this palette I have absolutely loved and I love the fact that you can create lovely everyday looks and create more glamorous looks for events and evening looks! I’ll have some of the looks I’ve created with the palette below!

Hiya guys welcome back or to my blog, I hope you have all been having a great week so far! I have been enjoying my uni break, it feels good to be able to relax! For today’s post I’m going to be sharing with you my favourite brushes out of my collection.

I thought this was a good idea just in case some of you are looking to buy some new brushes or just want to get an idea about what brushes I use, so if you’re interested than please keep reading! I’m going to go in the order of which I apply my makeup, so I’ll be starting out with my favourite foundation brush, but I don’t have brushes for every category. Flat top Foundation Brush from Crush Cosmetics 11 piece Rose Gold Brush Set This brush is from the and it retails for $75 AUD. I must say I will be featuring quite a few brushes from this set as it is amazing and I usually don’t get much use out of all the brushes that I get in brush sets, but with this one each brush has a purpose, so if you are looking at finding some new brushes I couldn’t recommend this brush set enough. Even though I mainly apply my foundation with a beauty blending sponge, when I do feel like using a brush I always gravitate towards this one because it has just the right amount of density and it’s really soft and gentle to work with and makes my foundation blend like a dream. Morphe M554 This is my favourite brush to set my under eye concealer with because of it’s rounded but flat shape it makes it easy to get right under my eye especially where I have fine lines on my lower lash line and being able to set the concealer in that area helps to stop it from sinking into the fine lines and creating creases. The brush is also so incredibly soft!

I’m planning on doing a whole blog post in the coming weeks about my thoughts on the brand Morphe as I have a fair few items from them, so if you are interested than please consider following me so you don’t miss out! Powder brush from Crush Cosmetics 11 piece Rose Gold Brush Set This is my absolute favourite powder brush! I love how big, soft and fluffy it is and because of the size it makes it quick and easy to set my foundation, so it’s really good if I need to be ready in a hurry! I don’t know what else to say about this brush apart from the fact that I love it so much! Contour Brush from Simple Glam Girls Mystic Purple Unicorn 8 Piece Brush Set This brush if from the which retails for $69 US. I absolutely love this brush to contour with. It has just the right amount of density while at the same time being super soft.

The angle of the brush allows for you to precisely contour your cheek bones and because of how soft it is, it makes the contour blend out so well! If you’re interested in this brush set, I have a discount code ‘mikjade’ where you can get 20% off your order from anything on their online store, but they are also on sale at the moment! Blush Brushes – Crush Cosmetics and Simple Glam Girls These blush brushes are part of the brush sets I have discussed above. I love the Crush Cosmetics blush brush for blushes that are really firmly pressed as this one has more density than the Simple Glam Girls one and I use the Simple Glam Girls blush brush for blushes that are either really buttery or super pigmented just because it is more fluffy which means it won’t pick up as much pigment. Both brushes are really soft and fluffy. Highlighter Brush from Crush Cosmetics 11 Piece Rose Gold Brush Set I love to use this brush to powder highlight.

I find it the perfect size and has just the right amount of density while still being soft and fluffy. I find it works well with both super pigmented, buttery formulas and ones that are more firmly pressed. You could even use this brush to contour with! Morphe 15 Piece Vegan Pro Makeup Brush Set This brow brush is from the which retails for $49.99 US (I bought mine from Discount Beauty Boutique though and you can also get them off Beauty Bay) and it’s my favourite brow brush because it also has a spoolie brush on the end which makes it a million times more convenient. I love the brow brush because of how small and precise it is with the defined angle it has.

It works well with all sorts of brow products, but I mainly use it for powder products. Eyeshadow Blending Brushes – Morphe and Holy Grail Cosmetics The first blending brush which I consider one of my favourites is from the Morphe brush set stated above and the other two are from the which retails for $60 I’m pretty sure, they are currently out of stock though. These blending brushes are all soft and fluffy making blending eyeshadows super easy and effortless and they have a little bit of density so you can build up the shadows exactly where you want, say the outer corner for example. Pencil Brush – Morphe 15 Piece Vegan Pro Brush Set I love this brush because it can be used for several things. You can use it to deepen up the outer V of the eye or to highlight the brow bone and the inner corners or to blend shadows on the lower lash line! You could even probably use this brush to smudge out eyeliner because it’s quite dense. I mainly use this brush to deepen the outer V and blend shadows on the lower lash line and it works great!

So there are all my favourite makeup brushes! I hope this post was helpful or that you found it interesting.
